Dotted Knitting Journal

Like bullet journal, but for knitters. This is where I write my knitting story and sketch my stitches. The dots follow the 4:5 ratio, so you can write as usual while you also sketch motifs. Great for keeping the true proportion of knitted stitches.

Why 4:5?
Knitted stitches are slightly wider than they are tall. Standard square (1:1) graph paper can distort designs, so motifs look stretched once knitted.
All Craft Granny knitting books use a 4:5 ratio grid, which reflects the natural proportions of a knitted stitch and makes charts match the fabric more closely.
